A Black River Falls man will be sentenced on his guilty plea to a charge of homicide by drunk driving in June.

Thomas Jahnke's trial was supposed to start in Jackson County Circuit Court Monday, but he stopped the trial by taking a plea bargain.  Investigators say Jahnke was drunk when he ran a stop sign at a high rate of speed in August 2012 and slammed into a second car.  The driver was injured and 24-year-old Kayla Koneman of Lyndon Station was pronounced dead at the scene.
