A mobile health clinic is coming to the Ho Chunk Nation.
The Childrens Health Fund is providing the clinic to the nation’s Department of Health which will staff and operate this "doctor’s office on wheels."
The mobile clinic will be dedicated Saturday during the Ho Chunk Nation’s annual Labor Day Pow-Wow at the Andrew Blackhawk Memorial Pow-Wow Grounds.
The custon designed clinic includes two patient care rooms, a waiting room, a nurses station and a procedure room to provide all aspects of children’s primary care.
The mobile health clinic will be based in Black River Falls, but will travel great distances to help folks in remote communities.
Services will begin in the fall.
