(11/14/12) The Partners of Black River Memorial Hospital will be holding the Love Lights Ceremony on Sunday, December 2nd, 2012 at Black River Memorial Hospital.
The night will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a welcome by Love Lights committee member Kathleen Peterson. The Invocation will be done by Pastor Nathan Berg of Faith Lutheran Church, Black River Falls.
Special musical entertainment will be provided by the Black River High School Chamber Music Ensemble. The lighting of the trees will be done by Stan Gaynor, CEO of Black River Memorial Hospital, followed by group carol singing around the trees lead by Tim Hopkins, Love Lights committee member. One of the special songs includes "O Christmas Tree" with words written by Partners member Lydia Lunda.
Refreshments, prepared by the hospital food service staff will be served in the dining room following the group singing.
Love Lights can still be ordered for the ceremony; white lights in memory of a deceased loved one or colored lights in honor of a relative or friend. Forms are available at Black River Memorial Hospital front desk or the Partners Gift Shop. Deadline to have your loved one's name appear on the wall display and program is November 26th, 2012. All proceeds from the Love Lights will go to the hospital's PERS (Personal Emergency Response System) program (formerly Lifeline).
