(9/6/10) On Saturday September 4, 2010 at approximately 3:53 PM Jackson County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch received a call of a crash involving 2 motorcycles on US Highway 12/27 near Allen Creek Road in the Township of Adams in Jackson County. Units from Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Black River Falls Fire Department, Black River Falls Emergency Medical Services and the Wisconsin State Patrol responded to the crash. Upon arrival 3 patients were treated and then transported to Black River Memorial Hospital for their injuries. Preliminary investigation indicates that the 2 motorcycles were travelling Southbound on US Hwy 12/27 when the first motorcycle which was occupied by operator Gary Davidson age 62 and passenger Tamara Davidson age 31 of Beaver Dam was struck from behind by the second motorcycle operated by Lucas Davidson age 24 of Beaver Dam. Lucas Davidson was pronounced dead at Black River Memorial Hospital as a result of injuries sustained in the crash. The crash remains under investigation.
