DATCP's Farm Center Available to WI Farmers

That means the spring planting season is right around the corner.  The Wisconsin Farm Center at the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) wants farmers to know they're available to answer questions as this busy season begins.  According to the Farm Center's Director, Kathy Schmitt, good planning before entering the field can be the difference in a profitable growing season.  Schmitt says her department will assist Wisconsin farmers in making financial decision, mediating challenging situations or creating business plans.  Wisconsin Farm Center staff is available weekdays from 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 1-800-942-2474 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
