BRF Man Killed in Cycle Accident

A 61 year old Black River Falls man is dead after he crashed his motorcycle while trying to avoid hitting a deer.

According to a release from the Wisconsin DOT, the accident happened yesterday afternoon around 5:15 on Oakridge Road, a half mile north of Black River Falls in Manchester Township.

Kenneth Fulton had to swerve to avoid a deer when he lost control of his motorcycle, tipped over and slid down the road.

Fulton was airlifted to a La Crosse hospital but died on the way.

He was not wearing a helmet at the time.

The crash remains under investigation.
