(1/28/12) Looking to learn more about the proposed controversial CAPX2020 project?
According to State Representative Steve Doyle, you’ll have your chance during at a community meeting Monday evening in Holmen. The $450 million CapX2020 line would extend about 150 miles from Hampton, Minn., to the La Crosse area, crossing the Mississippi River at Alma and ending at a new substation near Holmen. Construction would begin in 2013, with the 345-kilovolt line in service by 2015.
The Public Service Commission is expected to approve or deny the CapX2020 applications later this year. Doyle said he intends to have comments from the meeting placed in the official PSC record.
Again, the meeting is this Monday evening. It starts at 6:00 in the Holmen High School commons.
