Fire Destroys Pole Shed in Town of Irving

(2/21/12) On Saturday 18, 2012 at 19:20 the Black River Falls Fire Department was paged by the Jackson County Emergency Dispatch Center for a pole shed fire N4846 Bible Road in the Township of Irving. 

Upon the arrival a 42’ x 42’ pole shed was found to be fully involved with fire. 

The animals that were in the structure when the fire was discovered had been removed from the building by the property owner. 

The structure contained baled hay and a tractor. The building and its contents are a total loss. 

A loss estimate is not known at this time and the fire cause is also not known at this time. 

The department was on the scene for 4.25 hours and was assisted by tenders from the Taylor and Melrose Fire Departments. 

The owner of the property is Allen Pronschinske and was insured. 

There were no reported injuries to any Firefighters or civilians.
