Ho-Chunk Nation Police Chief Dan Libke has resigned after being arrested last week.
The 40 year old was arrested at his Black River Falls home Friday about 11:40 p.m. for obstructing an officer, according to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department arrest report.
The sheriff’s department is not releasing further details. Libke was freed on a $300 signature bond.
The arrest report was forwarded to the district attorney’s office.
No charges were filed as of last night. Obstructing an officer is a misdemeanor.
