Lottery Prize Claimed

4-25-12

A western Wisconsin woman claimed a pair of one-million-dollar lottery prizes yesterday.

Julie Trainor of Whitehall was a double-winner of the second prize in the Powerball drawing on April 14th. She played the same sets of regular numbers twice, with a different Powerball – and each time, she matched all five regular numbers. After taxes, Trainor took home one-million, 345-thousand-dollars. The Whitehall Cenex store, where she bought her tickets, is getting a 40-thousand-dollar commission. Trainor declined to talk about her double victory. Tonight’s Powerball jackpot is at 173-million-dollars. Nobody won the Mega Millions’ jackpot last night, so that goes up to 88-million on Friday night.
