(4/27/12) La Crosse County sheriff’s deputies said two people were drunk when their car rolled into a field near Onalaska early yesterday – and both occupants were killed.
The driver was 21-year-old Ethan Anderson of Holmen. Deputies said his blood alcohol level was point-two-oh, which was two-and-a-half times the legal limit for intoxication. His passenger, 21-year-old Samuel Haug of Holmen, had a blood alcohol level of point-19. Deputies said Anderson was speeding on County Trunk Double-“X” early yesterday when the auto veered to the left, rolled over several times, and landed in a field. Haug was thrown from the car, and Anderson was pinned underneath.
