BRF Men Arrested for Five Burglaries in One Night

(5/5/12-Tony Hart) Two Black River Falls men have been arrested for a string of business burglaries in Jackson and La Crosse counties. 

According to the Jackson County Sheriff's Department, 21 year-old Aron Fogleson turn himself in and later implicated 19 year-old John B. Cook in an early morning April 23rd burglary spree.  Fogelson and Cook allegedly broke into the Hixton Cheese Hut, Taylor General Store, a La Crosse County Business, and the Melrose Express twice causing thousands of dollars in property damage and theft.  The men reportedly said they were both out of money, cigarettes, and gas and really had no place to go.  Both men are in the jail on 5-thousand dollar cash bonds awaiting initial hearings.
