BRM Hospice and Hospital to Hold a Service to Rememeber Loved Ones

(5/7/12) The public is invited to a special Circle of Life Memorial Service on Thursday, May 24th at 7:00 p.m. at Black River Memorial Hospital in the Dorothy Halvorson conference room.

This memorial service is held annually to remember loved ones who have died this past year. The program is sponsored by Black River Memorial Hospital, Krohn Clinic, Pine View Care Center, Family Heritage Care Center and Jackson County Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers.

This is the 17th annual memorial service that has been held during or near the Memorial Day weekend. “Memorial Day is traditionally a time when our thoughts turn to loved ones who have died,” said Ellen Ness, Hospice Manager. “This service gives family and friends the opportunity to reflect, pray, sing and remember their loved ones with others who have also experienced a recent loss.” The service will include special music, readings, reflections by Pastor Kathy Jury, and a special remembrance ceremony.

Refreshments will follow in the hospital cafeteria.

Anyone wishing to have his or her loved one’s picture displayed for the program, please bring one with you or send a copy to Judi Wensel  at Black River Memorial Hospital, 711 West Adams Street, Black River Falls, WI 54615. All pictures will be returned immediately following the service.

For more information, contact Judi Wensel at the hospital or Karen Foust at Interfaith Caregivers. Interfaith will provide transportation per your request.
