(5/14/12) The Blood Center of Wisconsin has team up with Tomah Memorial Hospital and the Tomah High School for a special two -day blood drive that officials say will help local patients get the blood they need while benefitting area non-profit organizations.
The event billed as ‘Give Red, Earn Green’ is scheduled May 23 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Tomah Senior High School, and on May 24 from 1 p.m. – 6 p.m. at Tomah Memorial Hospital.
Blood donors can give blood on either day and then cast a vote for their favorite area non-profit organization. At the end of the two day drive, the non-profit with the most votes will receive a six-hundred dollar donation from State Farm- Holthaus (HOLT-HOUSE) Insurance & Financial Services of Tomah. The non-profit with the second highest votes will receive a three-hundred dollar donation, while the third place group will be given a one-hundred dollar donation.
