(5/22/12) The Respiratory Department at Black River Memorial Hospital is proud to announce the start of their bi-monthly Better Breather’s Club.
The Better Breather’s Club is a program that is open to the public and designed to connect with patients who have chronic pulmonary diseases, such as: COPD, asthma, fibrosis, etc.
The Better Breather’s Club is FREE of charge with light snacks and beverages provided at each meeting. The meetings are scheduled for 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. the first Monday of February, April, June, August, October and December (bi-monthly). They will be held at Black River Memorial Hospital in the Dorothy Halvorson Conference room with topics varying throughout the year. Each meeting will include current events regarding pulmonary disease and some exercise tips for you to try at home.
The first meeting is scheduled for June 4th, 2012 covering the importance of traveling safely: O2, humidity, elevation, air quality checks, etc.
