Dairy Reproduction Training

(5/22/12) Sex, Drugs and Reproduction will be the topics of discussion for dairy farm employees who want to improve their skills related to dairy cow reproduction. 

Employees will learn to better identify the primary signs of estrus, understand common mistakes in heat detection and expression and how this can impact dairy cow conception rate.  Employees will be able to discuss their questions with guest speaker Ryan Sterry, St. Croix County UW-Extension Dairy Agent.  

The program, offered in both English and Spanish, will take place on Thursday June 7th from noon – 2 p.m. at the Pfaff’s Dairy Farm W 21987 Hwy 121, Alma Center.  Dairy farm owners/managers are also welcome to attend this meeting.
