A Coon Valley man is dead after being involved in a moped crash Saturday.
62 year old Bobby Livangood was riding his moped on Central Avenue in Coon Valley Saturday afternoon when he crossed the center line and struck the side of a semi, .
According to the Vernon County Sheriff’s Department, Livangood was taken to a La Crosse hospital, and he died Sunday.
The semi driver, 51 year old William Ripley Jr. of Cashton was not injured.
According to the sheriff’s department, Livangood was not wearing a helmet, and the collision remains under investigation.
