(7/10/12) A number of persons have reported stomach flu like- illness after visiting Lake Wazee Park in Black River Falls during the 4th of July

At this time the Jackson County Health Department and Jackson County Forestry and Parks are investigating possible sources of this illness. These agencies believe this illness may be related to swimming in Lake Wazee, however test results are pending. Water advisories have been posted at the beach as a precautionary measure and persons are asked not to swim until further notice.
