A pair of inmates from the Black River Correctional Center are on the loose after coming up missing Tuesday night.
According to the Jackson County Sherriff’s Department, 18 year old
James C Misleveck and 29 year old James R. Newman were last seen wearing tan t-shirts, grey shorts and tennis shoes.
The two were reported missing around 11:15.
A search of the area came up empty.
Early this morning, the sheriff’s department received notification of a vehicle break-in in which a shotgun and ammunition were stolen.
Authorities will not confirm if the two incidents are related.
Authorities say If anyone sees these two individuals they should contact local law enforcement immediately. Do not approach them or attempt to take any other action.
