It started as a way to remove carp from the lake in Hatfield. Now it has become a major fundraising event.
The annual Carpfest is scheduled for Saturday, July 20th. Cash prizes are set for folks who participate. One fish has been tagged and will draw the grand prize. Carpfest has helped to install a handicapped boat landing and a handicapped restroon at the park.
