(PRC) for Overall Quality of Care for Inpatient care, as well as for Outpatient care in the Lab Department. The Emergency Department earned a 4-Star Award for Overall Quality of Care.
"The 5-Star designation is given annually to healthcare facilities, providers, outpatient service lines, and inpatient units that score in the top 10 percent of PRC's national database for the prior calendar year. These awards are based on the percentage of patients who give a rating of "Excellent" for the overall quality of care question," said Sue Pearson, Quality and Risk Manager for BRMH. The 4-Star award recognizes those who score in the top 25 percent in the national database.
