The identities of two victims of seperate traffic accidents in Jackso County Friday evening have been released.
23 Year old Johm Becktel of Black river Falls was killed when he failed to execute a turn while riding his motorcycle on the Millston off-ramp on I-94. According to a report from the Jackson County Sherriff's Department, Becktel was thrown from the vehicle into a traffic sign and died at the scene. The accident happened at about 3:50.
A second accident four hours later claimed the life of 24 year old Kayla Konemann of Lyndon Station. According to the sherriff's report, she was a paasenger in a vehicle that was side-swiped by a pickup truck that apparently ran a stop sign. The driver of the truck, 35 year old Thomas Jahnke of Black River Falls was ejected from his vehicle and was airlifted to a local medical facility. The driver of the second vehicle is identified as 26 year old Myles Vollmer of Portage. He also was airlifted to a local hospital. The conditions of these two are not currently available. The accident happened on the corner of highway 54 and County Highway H.
