WHAT: The American Cancer Society Run/Walk of Jackson County - Is a unique celebration of life in honor and in memory of those whose lives have been touched by cancer. Individuals and teams register and collect donations for this non-competitive, family run/walk in awareness and to celebrate that cancer can be beaten! For a nominal entry fee you will receive a t-shirt, and jump-start breakfast at Lunda Park. Everyone is welcome, so plan now to bring your family, friends and neighbors!
REGISTRATION FEE- $10/Person by October 6th
$15/Person Day of Event
WHEN: Saturday, October 13th, 2012 8:00a.m.-12:00p.m.
8:00a.m. – Registration Opens/Survivor Registration Begins-Jump Start Breakfast Available.
9:00a.m. - Opening Ceremony, Survivor & Caregiver Recognition
Walk Begins
10:30a.m. – Tribute Ceremony
10:45a.m-12:00 p.m. - Musical Entertainment- Kid's Activities, Basket Auction and
Food Available for lunch.
12:00 p.m. - Closing Ceremony
WHERE: Lunda Park.
WHY: All funds raised support the mission of the American Cancer Society to Save Lives! And create a world with more by helping people stay well, helping people get well, to find cures and to fight back!
