(9/5/12) More than a half a semi-load of electronics and appliances were collected for recycling and a half-ton of paper was securely shredded and recycled at GreenLifeXpo August 25th at Black River Falls, Wisconsin.
Nearly 500 guests attended 2nd annual energy and sustainability exposition. The tours to local sites of energy and sustainability interest, sponsored by the Black River Area Green School, were enjoyed by many.
The Xpo Committee, led by Linda Heller of Alma Center, expresses many thanks to all of the exhibitors and presenters for their participation. Thanks also to the 22 businesses and agencies who donated door prizes. And special thanks to Wood Sales & Service for donating the use of a tractor with forklift attachment.
