(9/6/12) How people get to church may not be as important, as actually going to church. But parishioners at Saint Matthew's Church near Warrens are asking people with a tractor to use it and drive to church on Sunday, September 9.
Church Pastor Phillip Enderle, said Saint Matthew's is holding the unique event to highlight the important work of area farmers, while creating some community fellowship.
Even if you don't have a tractor, you can still attend the event. More than two dozen tractors were on display during last year's event, which Enderle hopes is just as successful this year.
The day will include a Church Service beginning at 9:15 a-m, followed by a pot luck picnic at 11 a-m. Children's games and hayrides will also be offered.
Saint Matthew's Church is located about ten miles north of Tomah on Highway 12 near Warrens.
