Flags throughout the state's National Guard Armories and government buildings will be at Half staff today.
This will be in remembrance of the events of September 11th, 2001. Governor Scott Walker issued the proclamation.
Meanwhile, the American Red Cross will be hosting a Day of Service at the Fire Station in Black River Falls from 5-8 this evening. There will be a remembrance with a moment of silence and the National Anthem. Red Cross volunteers will also be canvassing the Grove neighborhood with fire safety tips for area residents.
