A woman charged in the heroin overdose death of a Trempealeau man has been bound over for trial after waiving her right to contest the charges Tuesday.
26 year old Tasha Kempfer did not enter a plea at the preliminary hearing in Trempealeau County Circuit Court, where she faces a single count of first-degree reckless homicide in the death of Jeremiah Harris.
Kempfer and her mother, 44-year-old Michelle Johnson, were each charged under the state’s Len Bias law, which holds dealers accountable in overdose deaths.
