(9/15/12-Tony Hart) A 69 year old Onalaska man was killed Friday afternoon in a crash that closed I90 East Bound near exit 5 at Onalaska.
It happened about 4:00 when the man tried to stop his 2012 Equinox and was rear-ended by a 1999 Dodge Durango. The driver of the Durango was a 42 year-old Onalaska man who was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, alcohol use was a factor. The accident remains under investigation. The names of the men haven't been released pending notification of relatives.
