(10/1/12-Tony Hart) A Melrose-Mindoro FFA member is a national finalist for restoring a 1949 Allis-Chalmers tractor.
Riley Hanson, also a junior at Melrose-Mindoro High School, spent over 400 hours taking every piece of the machine apart...having to re-build, polish, and re-paint everything. Hanson entered his project in the Chevron Delo Tractor Restoration Competition. He is the only Wisconsin contestant out of 23 nationwide. You can support Riley's endeavor by voting for this restoration project daily at www-dot-chevrondelo-dot-com. Everyone's allowed 10 votes a day from each I-P address. Hanson says he appreciates everyone's support and reminds everyone to vote, everyday, through Monday, October 22nd. You can also find a link to the contest page on our website at wwisradio-dot-com.
