(11/5/12) Community members are invited to Black River Memorial Hospice's Evergreen Memorial Service to pause and remember those who have passed away during this past year.
"We know that the Holidays can be an especially hard time for those who have recently lost a loved one," says Ellen Ness Manager of Black River Memorial Hospice. "We will have printed materials and bereavement staff available to assist those who have experienced a loss," says Ness. The memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 6th, 2012 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Black River Memorial Hospital in the Dorothy Halvorson Conference room. The program will include readings, songs and sharing.
There will also be a "remembrance" evergreen tree at the service. All attendees are invited to bring a holiday ornament to place on the evergreen tree in remembrance of their loved one. Ornaments will be placed on the tree during the service. The tree is then displayed in the hospital lobby throughout the Holidays as a living memorial to those we have lost. Refreshments will be served following the service
Please RSVP to Judi at Black River Memorial Hospice at 715-284-1343.
