(11/7/12) Black River Memorial Hospital will be offering a Basic Life Support CPR Course on Wednesday, December 5th, 2012, from 4:00 pm to 9:30 pm in the Dorothy Halvorson Conference Room.
The course cost is $50.00 per person, which includes the newest version (2010) of the American Heart Association's Basic Life Support/CPR training materials.
This course covers performing CPR on adults, children and infants, using adjunctive resuscitation equipment such as oxygen administration devices, advanced airways and Automated External Defibrillators (AED). This training also includes choking relief for conscious and unconscious adults, children and infants.
Pre-registration is REQUIRED! Pre-register at the information desk in the hospital lobby-Monday through Friday-7am to 8 pm. The course is limited to the first eight registrants. For further information, call Sue Laufenberg at the hospital;715-284-1312.
