The death of a 22 year old man in a Fort McCoy deer hunting area is under investigation
Thomas M. Stamborski of the Milwaukee area, was found dead with a gunshot wound around midday, Saturday, Nov. 17, in an
approved Fort McCoy hunting area. Stamborski, a non-Department of Defense affiliated civilian,was at Fort McCoy deer hunting.
The death is under investigation by the Special Agents from the Army's
Criminal Investigation Command. No additional information is releasable at
this time to protect the integrity of the ongoing investigation.
