Three Injured in Monroe County

(12/26/12) A one-vehicle crash Christmas Eve injures three.  According to the Monroe County Sheriff's Department, it happened about 10:30 Monday morning in the Town Portland on Nashville Avenue.

40-year-old Robert W. Wateski lost control of his pick-up while taking a curve on a snow and ice covered road.  The truck went up an embankment, rolled onto the passenger side, slid onto the road, and then rolled back onto it's wheels and down an embankment on the opposite side of the road.  Neither Wateski or his passengers were wearing seatbelts.  All were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.  The accident remains under investigation by the Monroe County Sheriff's Department.
