(12/29/12-Tony Hart) Area snowmobilers welcomed yesterday's snow, which meant trails opening or staying open.
According to the Jackson County Forestry and Parks Department website, all trails, including club trails, are open, though some may be in poor condition. Trails in La Crosse County haven't been open yet this year, but groomers were out Friday and according to the La Crosse Snowmobile Alliance trails there officially open today.
