(1/9/13) A Wisconsin Rapids man will spend almost three years in prison for possessing child pornography.
33-year-old Michael Kuhn was given credit for almost two months he spent in jail while his case was going through the court system. And he'll have to spend three years under extended supervision when he leaves prison. Kuhn was originally charged in Wood County with 10 counts of possessing child porn – but eight of them were dropped in a plea deal. Authorities executed a search warrant at Kuhn's home after they learned that a computer there was downloading child pornography. Kuhn first told officers he had downloaded adult porn – but investigators found multiple images of kids between 6-and-13. As part of his sentence, Kuhn must get any necessary counseling – stay away from places that sell alcohol – and not live within two blocks of parks, schools, and child care centers.
