(2/12/13) The regular meeting of the Common Council was held at City Hall in the City of Black River Falls on February 5, 2013 at 6:00 P.M.
Alderpersons Gearing-Lancaster, Chojnacki, Johnson, Herman, R. Eddy, Rahmlow, Olson and J. Eddy were present. Mayor Danielson presided.

It was moved by Alderperson Chojnacki, seconded by Alderperson Herman to dispense with the reading of the minutes of the January 2, 2013 Council meeting. Motion carried.

COMMITTEE REPORTS
It was moved by Alderperson R. Eddy, seconded by Alderperson Chojnacki to approve the Committee of the Whole minutes of January 16, 2013. Motion carried.
The Committee of the Whole met at City Hall in the City of Black River Falls on January 16, 2013 at 6:00 P.M. Alderpersons Gearing-Lancaster, Chojnacki, Johnson, Herman, R. Eddy, Rahmlow, Olson and J. Eddy were present. Mayor Danielson presided.
1. The Department Heads presented their monthly reports.
2. It was moved by Alderperson Johnson, seconded by Alderperson Herman to authorize the purchase of a Lucas 2 mechanical compression device at a cost of $13,068.75. The Black River Emergency Medical Service currently has two of these units which are in service and working well. The funds have been budgeted for 2013. Motion carried.
3. It was moved by Alderperson Olson, seconded by Alderperson Johnson to approve the 2013 Fire Department officer appointments as follows:

It was moved by Alderperson Johnson, seconded by Alderperson Rahmlow to place on file the Plan Commission minutes of January 23, 2013. Motion carried.
The Plan Commission met at City Hall in the City of Black River Falls on January 23, 2013 at 6:00 P.M. Commissioners Danielson, D. Johnson, Boisen, Powell, Moe and G. Johnson were present. Commissioner Helland was absent.
1. Mayor Danielson opened the public hearing in regard to the request of Augusta Building Corp for a conditional use permit for their property between Rye Bluff Road and Van Buren Street as published. They are requesting the permit to construct approximately 27 units of cooperative housing at that site.
There were no objectors in attendance.
2. It was moved by Commissioner G. Johnson, seconded by Commissioner Moe to grant August Building Corp a conditional use permit for Lot 9 of Jackson County Certified Survey Map 1499 to allow multi-family housing in excess of 4 units at that location. Motion carried.
3. It was moved by Commissioner G. Johnson, seconded by Commissioner Boisen to adjourn. Motion carried.

OLD BUSINESS
It was moved by Alderperson Johnson, seconded by Alderperson Gearing-Lancaster to set April 15, 2013 as the last day for the owner of the wood garage at 303 South 1st Street to remove the personal property from the garage. The owner will be given notification according to State Statute. Motion carried.
