Two Men Arrested in Wisconsin as Part of FBI Investigation

(4/5/13) Two men were arrested in Wisconsin as part of a large federal investigation into weapons-and-drug trafficking by the Black Disciples' street gang in Chicago.

The F-B-I said today that 50-year-old Walter Blackman of Gary Indiana was arrested in La Crosse yesterday. And 30-year-old Jamaal Crawford of Chicago was picked up in Kenosha. Blackman's brother Ken is the only one of 18 suspects who has not been captured yet. The F-B-I says he's the subject of a nationwide manhunt. Sixteen of the defendants are charged in federal court in Chicago with possessing or distributing cocaine, crack, and heroin – as well as federal firearms violations. The other two face similar charges in Hammond Indiana. The F-B-I says its investigation continues.
