One road is re-opened in the Eau Claire area, but another will soon face construction.
The State Patrol says a lane of eastbound Highway 29 had to be shut down after pavement buckled late Tuesday afternoon.
It happened near the intersection with Highway 53 around 4:40 p.m. Crews worked to repair it for two hours.
Meanwhile, drivers in Eau Claire may run into a road construction project starting next week that will last through the summer.
The Eau Claire County Highway Department says 4 miles of West Lowes Creek Road south of Eau Claire will be under construction starting next Monday. The project will run from Deerfield Road to County Highway HH.
The project is set to be finished by the end of September
