(6/24/13) The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources says there was a great turn-out for today's (MON) public chat on deer implementations.

Coordinator for the D-N-R's deer trustee Eric Lobner says topics from crossbows to antlerless deer hunting was discussed in the latest series of scheduled chats with the public. The trustee's recommendation for a state-wide ban on feeding and baiting deer was also a hot topic – Lobner says it is an issue the state legislature will have to address. The next chat is scheduled for July 24. Transcripts of today's chat is available on D-N-R's website or the Facebook page (www.Facebook.com/WIDNR).
