Motorcyle vs Deer vs Car Crash Airlifts One

(7/4/13-Tony Hart) A Peterson, Minnesota man suffered life-threatening injuries in a motorcycle verses deer versus car crash near Fountain City Wednesday. 

According the Wisconsin State Patrol, it happened around one-o'clock when 42 year-old Christopher Boyum was westbound on Highway 95 and struck a deer.  Boyum was ejected from the motorcycle, which landed in the eastbound lane and was struck by a Pontiac car driven by 24-year-old Kelsey Guenther of Fountain City. The motorcycle caught on fire and burned.  Guenther was wearing a seatbelt and sustained minor injuries.  Boyum was wearing a helmet and eye protection, but was taken by Mayo 1 Helicopter to St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester for life-threatening injuries.
