Much More to See at the JC Fair 2013

(8/3/13) Perfect weather has apart of this year's Jackson County Fair, which runs through tomorrow in Black River Falls.

Dan Anderson is a Black River Falls FFA member and one of this year's exhibitors at the fair, he may be exhibiting the most animals at this year's event.  Anderson has brought 30 animals to the fair for judging. Some of which are Grand Champions.

Anderson's pig and lamb will be in the Junior Livestock Auction tonight at 7:30 with John Marg as the auctioneer.

Today's entertainment schedule is pack with something for everyone, including the new Tuff Truck Competition.  Fair Member Leonard Olson is an organizer of the event.

Olson says there'll be two classes of trucks...stock and modified.  The Tuff Truck Competition gets started at 10-o'clock this morning in the front of the grandstand.  Other events today at the fair are Farm Safety Clinic and Draft Horse Hitch Class Show at 11:00.  The Best Dessert with Honey as an ingredient is at Noon.  Have the kids participate in the pedal pull at 3:00.  7-o'clock is the NTPA Sanctioned Tractor/Truck Pull and the Junior Livestock Auction is at 7:30.  Tomorrow...the last day of the fair...there's a church service at 9:00 with the Open Gymkhana Horse Show, and Draft Horse Halter Show.  The Demolition Derby start 12:30 with a Combine Demo to follow.

Through the weekend, bring the kids for the rides there's a wristband special today from noon to 4:00...at the same time for another important event according to Jackson County Sheriff Duane Waldera.
