Fort McCoy Commemorative Area to Open

(8/16/13) Fort McCoy's Commemorative Area will be open to the public from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6. There is no charge for admission.

The picturesque setting helps to tell the unique history of Fort McCoy. The
area includes the History Center, five World War II-era buildings, an
Equipment Park, and Veterans Memorial Plaza.

Guests must enter the installation through the Main Gate off of Highway 21
between Sparta and Tomah, Wis.

Adults must be prepared to present photo identification.

Public Affairs staff will be on site to answer questions. For details, call
