An area optometrist has been recognized by Governor Walker for his years of service on the state’s Optometry Examining Board.
Dr. Gregory Foster of Neillsville has spent eight years on the O-E-B.
He was appointed to the O-E-B by then-governor Doyle in 2005.
He was elected vice-chairman of the board in 2006 and chairman in 2007.
The O-E-B includes among it’s duties protecting the public by ensuring safe a competent practice of licensed optometrists.
