(12/3/13) Shared Purchasing Solutions (SPS) honored Black River Memorial Hospital (BRMH) with the award of "2013 SPS/Amerinet Hospital of the Year."
SPS and Amerinet, Inc. recognized BRMH as a leader in the rural hospital market for their efforts to reduce overall healthcare costs, while continuing to improve the quality of healthcare.
Through BRMH's efforts to partner with SPS/Amerinet by utilizing group purchasing contracts and services, BRMH has effectively reduced its operational costs. As a member of these groups, BRMH has helped drive purchase standardization to decrease costs even further.
Education is another avenue BRMH has chosen to show its leadership in the healthcare field. Black River Memorial Hospital utilizes and supports many educational programs offered through Shared Purchasing Solutions and Amerinet.
Bob Daley, CFO for BRMH, said, "We know our patients want quality care that is affordable. These partnerships allow us to meet those needs."
