Vernon County Woman Jailed After High Speed Chase

The Vernon County Sheriff's Department has released the name of a De Soto woman arrested for leading deputies on a high speed chase.

Thanks to the use of spike strips, deputies finally caught 19-year-old Heidi Frawley after a three-county chase Saturday.

Reports say tdeputies discovered Frawley had a felony arrest warrant and tried pulling her over.  Deputies say she took off and led them on a chase through Vernon and Crawford counties.

The chase reportedly reached speeds of 70 miles an hour, ending when Frawley's car hit a spike strip.

Deputies arrested her, and say she is currently being held in the Vernon County Detention Center.
