Authorities say a man was killed on Friday night
after crashing into a tree with his snowmobile. The Chippewa County Sheriff's
Department says the 20-year-old victim was snowmobiling with three other people
when he lost control and hit a tree. The identity of the victim has not been
released. Authorities believe alcohol was not a factor, but speed and the
victim's unfamiliarity with the trail was a
factor.

Milwaukee Police have arrested the suspect involved
with stealing a car with a baby inside. Police say a 16-year-old teen was
arrested for the crime. In a news release, police say the mother left the child
in the car with the motor running while she went inside a gas station on Friday
night. Investigators are determining whether or not the teen is involved with
other thefts in the area.
