Powers Found Guilty of 2010 Murder

(1/14/11) According to published reports this morning, 24 year-old Aaron Powers has been found guilty and convicted of 1st degree reckless homicide and several burglary charges.  Authorities say Powers shot 56 year-old Terrance Stoen through his patio door in North Bend back in October of 2010.

FSA 2012 DCP/ACRE Sign Up

(1/13/12) As planning preparations for crop season 2012 get underway, Julie Dokkestul, Jackson County Farm Service Agency Executive Director, announces that enrollment for the 2012 Direct and Counter-cyclical Program (DCP) and the Average Crop Revenue Election (ACRE) program will begin on January 23, 2012, and continue through June 1, 2012.  This is the final year of the Food, Conservation, and Energy Act of 2008 (Farm Bill).
