The Black River Falls Tigers used a 12-4 4th quarter run to surprise the Prescott Cardinals Tuesday night in WIAA Girls Basketball division 3 tournament action, 31-25 in Prescott.
The 10th seeded Tigers trailed by 5 in the 3rd quarter, but were able to hit key threes and free throws down the stretch to earn the win.
Maria Lee led the Tigers with 11 points including 7-8 from the free throw line.
Emma Erlandson added 7.
The win was the Tigers 7th of the season.
They travel to La Crosse Friday night to face the 2nd seeded Aquinas Blugolds.
