Diggers Hotline Reminds Wisconsin Residents to Always Call 811

With plenty of summer left, there’s still lots of time for Wisconsin residents to work on outdoor projects. August 11 is almost here, and Diggers Hotline hopes this date on the calendar, 8/11, will serve as an easy reminder for everyone to call 811 prior to any digging project to have underground utility lines marked.

Pronschinske’s First Bill Signed into Law

During a ceremony at the state capitol earlier this afternoon (August 2, 2017), legislation authored by Representative Treig Pronschinske (Mondovi) to simplify passport applications was signed into law by Governor Walker. Senate Bill 79 streamlines the current, cumbersome process and allows county Clerks and Clerks of Courts to legally copy a birth certificate for use in passport applications.
