Hang onto your photo I-D.  Wisconsin's attorney general will still try to make you show it at the polls on November fourth, even though the U-S Supreme Court blocked the law's enforcement last night on a 6-to-3 vote.

Marshfield Police have recommended theft-by-fraud charges against a 37-year-old man accused of a ticket scam in which 15 Packer fans were bilked out of 46-thousand dollars.

Bridge in Village of Taylor Closed

Earlier in the day, a 5 Ton Weight Limit was put into effect on the bridge over French Creek in the Village of Taylor, Town of Springfield.

Frac-Sand Mine Closed

County officials in western Wisconsin have closed a frac-sand mine for allegedly dumping polluted wastewater into a pond that was properly lined.

Pheasant Hunting 2014

Wisconsin pheasant hunters are gearing up for a season that begins in ten days. Last year, almost 44-thousand hunters shot just over 194-thousand birds.  This year, the D-N-R says pheasant hunters will have their best luck in areas with adequate winter cover, like cat-tail marshes -- as well as dense brush mixed in with grasslands, hay, and crop fields.  The season begins at noon on October 18th statewide.  It runs through New Year's Eve.
